(Please inquire with your health insurer about the coverage of my benefits).
Loving to practice sports and interested in the area of health and well-being, I have created this space to transmit my knowledge to the care of the person through massage.
With a degree in pharmacy, after a few years working in the industry, and having suffered back problems firsthand, I decided to turn my career around and learn the benefits of massage that helped me so much in its day. Graduated in therapeutic massage in 2014 and later on in structural osteopathy and craniosacral in Barcelona. With experience in Spas and luxury hotels both in Barcelona and in the beautiful Swiss mountains in Gtaad and continuously training in Switzerland in manual therapies, I offer my knowledge, my empathy and my values to share with you the benefits of massage.
BACK PAIN, SHOULDER PAIN, TENSION?
Massage, is an ancestral art that helps the well-being of the body. It is a set of manual techniques used to treat pain, reduce stress, prevent disease, and therefore promote physical and mental balance to restore harmony of body and mind.
How can a massage help me?
Massages promote blood and lymphatic circulation, stimulate the immune system and help eliminate toxins such as lactic acid produced during prolonged exercise in sports or at work. At the same time, thanks to the supply of nutrients and oxygen, they help us eliminate the nodules formed by muscular dysfunctions and therefore restore joint mobility. Finally, they reactivate the parasympathetic nervous system which inhibits stress hormones and promotes the secretion of endorphins, hormones that have an analgesic effect and take us into a state of general relaxation.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE BENEFITS
Lymphatic drainage (VODDER technique) is a manual technique that aims to stimulate the circulation of lymph, a bodily fluid that carries waste and toxins out of the body. Here are some of its potential virtues:
- Body detoxification: The lymphatic system helps to remove metabolic waste, excess fluids, toxins, and bacteria from the body.
- Reduction of swelling and water retention: Lymphatic drainage can be particularly beneficial for people suffering from edema (swelling due to fluid buildup in body tissues).
- Support for post-operative healing: After surgery, especially cosmetic surgery, lymphatic drainage can help reduce swelling and accelerate the healing process.
- Relaxation and stress relief: Lymphatic drainage can be relaxing and help reduce stress and anxiety.
- Skin improvement: By promoting the elimination of waste and toxins, lymphatic drainage can improve the appearance of the skin, making it brighter and reducing cellulite.
